Fraud Center is our new free service that provides 24/7 real-time monitoring and identification of fraudulent debit card activity. Our Fraud Center analysts will notify you immediately of suspected fraud transactions. By utilizing sophisticated analysis techniques, we are able to monitor and build custom fraud detection strategies based on your personal debit card usage patterns.
How does it work?
When a suspicious debit card transaction occurs, you will be notified immediately by text message. You can follow the instructions and reply directly by text to allow this transaction or flag it as fraud. If no response is received by text, contact attempts will be made by email and phone. As a courtesy all phone contact attempts will only be made between 8:00am and 9:00pm.
When speaking with a Fraud Center analyst you may be asked questions to confirm your identity by answering some out of wallet questions and partial account information. Please note that First State Bank of Purdy employees or Fraud Center analyst will never contact you and ask for full card numbers, SSNs, or other private information. If you receive unsolicited calls asking for this information or feel uncomfortable answering any questions during a call, hang up and call (800) 391-2535 to report this activity.
Do I need to take any action to enable Fraud Center protection?
Debit Card Fraud Center is an included free service for all of our Debit Card holders. The service is active once you receive your debit card. Fraud protection is also activated on all existing debit cards.
How can I improve my fraud protection?
Contact us at (800) 391-2535 or through our website to confirm that we have your current contact information such as cell phone and email. Also keep us up to date any time after changing phone numbers or other contact information.
